The 'pathway to citizenship' for all immigrants
Tuesday, July 8, 2014
I'm opting for the brief version ...not so extensive as what my original comments were going to be.
Immigrant: a person who comes to a new country, region, or environment ...particularly with the intent to settle there.
We all have much more familiarity with some areas than others. We likely are more familiar with the environment we live in, and less familiar with those we've not yet had the opportunity to visit.
We often think we know what we don't like, yet may not know what we would like ...though we may have some idea about it.

Phillipians 3:20 ....
"But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior."
John 18:36 - Jesus said, My kingdom is not of this world ...
And as the apostle Peter made clear, currently, however, we are strangers, pilgrims, aliens and sojourners on earth.
If we desire, we have the greatest opportunity to travel to another environment ...sort of like immigrants, but not undocumented immigrants.
If we realize where our home should really be ...we have our names documented in the Book of Life. That is, if we realize our pathway to citizenship in heaven is through following Jesus.
